Testimonial

“We sought a flexible settlement to suit our lifestyle needs, ultimately securing an 18-month option. This extended timeframe gave us the breathing space required to assess the market both here and interstate without the pressures that previous short settlements brought. We could take a considered approach to our options to find the right fit for our family, before relocating from Victoria to Queensland. Having access to the deposit given the longer settlement term was also of great benefit.

The real people behind RealFuture

Australian founders with extensive experience in property investment and economics have launched a unique way to buy and sell using longer settlements and released upfront deposits. RealFuture benefits key groups including retirees, first home buyers and people seeking greater convenience when buying and selling homes.

RealFuture puts people first by harnessing the power of time. Time to plan for their next home, time to save a deposit, time to get their foot on the property ladder, time to build some equity, time to travel, or just some time to enjoy life.

Frequently Asked Questions

To list your house for sale on the RealFuture platform you need to engage an agent who is registered with RealFuture. You can find a list of registered agents here. Working with an agent to sell your house will ensure you can safely hold viewings and that all the paperwork is in place for the sale.

To purchase a house via the RealFuture platform you simply need to search here and then contact the respective agent for the property you are interested in. If you'd like to save your searches you will need to create an account on the platform.

RealFuture does not act as your agent.

Yes. Like any ordinary sale vendors use registered real estate agents to list, show and sell properties. All sale contracts are prepared by a lawyer for the vendor. The contracts are legally binding and enforceable by the applicable laws in each state and territory. We encourage vendors and buyers to seek independent financial and legal advice when listing or purchasing properties.

The biggest difference with RealFuture, which benefits both vendors and buyers, is the long settlement period. Typically, property sales settle in somewhere between 30 and 90 days. With RealFuture you can enjoy a longer settlement of between one and three years (12 - 36 months).

Other than that, the process is the same including conducting inspections and sale process through licensed real estate agents.
